Rapper Worlasi is out with an animated video for his new song “Booze High” off his “Outlane” EP.

On this EP, Worlasi challenges himself even more by stepping out of his comfort zone to experiment with different music forms by collaborating with multiple producers; something he has kept to the very minimum.

He held a preview session Saturday, May 12 to unveil the video to media personnel. During the listening session, Worlasi, explained the concept for “Booze High”.

The animated video depicts various physical, spiritual, and emotional challenges that humans are faced with on daily basis and empowers one to defy the odds by taking a breather from life even in critical moments.

The animation was done by Peter Poka and song by Juls. Worlasi has worked with top Ghanaian artists such as Sarkodie and M.anifest to mention a few.

His versatility enables him to switch from singing to rapping in English, Ewe, Fante, Ga and Pidgin. His songs are famous for their refreshing and inspiring lyrics – a mixture of soul and hip-hop blended with African flavour.

He is also figure painting artist. Some of his greatest hits include Too Naughty, Nuse, One Life, Nukata and You Saw Me. Worlasi’s musical career can be traced back to his first breakthrough single, Ay3 Adz3, which saw him rise to fame.

The eccentric Worlasi represented Ghana at Coke Studio Africa in 2017. He is currently under the management of MK Content, a talent management company with focus on Talent representation as well as film and television package development.
