Veteran broadcaster Fiifi Banson has said he never made veteran broadcaster Kwami Sefa Kayi his target while he hosted Kasapa Fm’s morning show ‘Anopa Kasapa‘ for the last three years.

According to him, several people thought his reason for hosting the morning show was to compete with his loyal friend and host of Peace Fm’s morning show, Kwame Sefa Kayi. But Fiifi Banson otherwise known as the ”Dynamite” disproved such claim saying, “Kwame Sefa Kayi is miles ahead and he wasn’t my target, rather Captain Smart was my target and competition.” He told Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Starr FM.

Mr. Banson, known for his high sense of humor and unique baritone voice has finally handed over the baton to Kwaku Owusu Adjei ‘Patoo’ as the new host of Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5FM.

Fiifi Banson had previously worked with GBC, Radio Gold and Peace FM all in the nation’s capital.

He also debunked rumors that he is going back to the Despite group.

“I’m not going back to Peace FM, I saw a portal that reported that I was going back to Peace FM and I haven’t granted any interview to anybody. Starr Chat is perhaps the official show I’m having and telling people I’m bowing out. I signed a three-year contract with EIB Network and the entire process was that I wanted to move away from my 15 years of Drivetime, try and explore other areas, try and do other things.

“Because I have sat-in a couple of times for the Morning show when I was at Peace FM and I had a few good remarks and reviews so I said perhaps the only thing I haven’t done was the morning show hence my joining EIB Network,” the Dynamite said.

He added: ” I’m still part of the EIB family, I still have a few things to do with GhONE and so EIB is family”.
