Annabella Twum also known as Bellaa Tee is a young Ghanaian Canadian born artist living in Toronto.
Most people know Bellaa for her hit song “Don’t Give Up” which was able to trend while Bellaa promoted in Ghana. Bellaa has been singing for more than 10 years and has performed on many stages in Canada, US and Ghana.
At the moment Bellaa has two albums, one single and three music videos.
Bellaas love for music is shown through her consistency of aiming for the stars in the music industry, is seen through her promotion and her overall work. Bellaa has won many awards but the most recent one is her African Entertainment award where she won “Female Artist of The Year 2017”.
Bellaa has been recently nominated at the Ghana Entertainment Awards , USA in the category “Best GH/CA Act”. Sammy Tee who is a Ghanaian Old Highlife singer and also Bellaa’s father is Bellaa’s role model.
“My father has taught me so much about music and I will forever make him and my mother proud. I want to write music that speaks to the heart ways that words cannot and I want to make an impact on the youth”.
Bellaa being very bubbly and fun tends to present very interesting, cultural and fascinating performances when given the platform. With her unique choices of introduction and her unique style, Bellaa catches the attention of her audience with no doubt.
Bellaa is a current student at Ryerson University in her 3rd year starting September and has music at heart with no plans of letting it go.
“Music will not be on the side but it will always be on top of my list. Right now I plan to finish school and take my music to another level. I could have chosen to start this music journey after graduating but life is too short. As long as I am able to get time to study and write music, I am fine.”
Inspired by musicians like Shatta Wale, Ebony Reigns, Beyonce, Tiwa Savage, Adina, Michael Jackson, Kojo Antwi, Jupiter De General and Rihanna, Bellaa writes songs that are lyrical soothing, aim to change lives, entertaining, motivates the heart and uplifts the soul.
From her gospel songs all the way to her love songs Bellaa strives to touch hearts and especially hearts of youth. At the moment Bellaa is working on a few collaborations, music videos and also has plans of starting some youth programs in Ghana which will definitely incorporate arts.
