A Kumasi Circuit Court has slapped one of the suspects in the infamous Bantama ‘gang rape’ case with a 7 year sentencing.
He was found guilty of defilement and conspiracy to defile.
The court held that Ernest Asare, 20, was the only adult among the five suspects.
Meanwhile, the court presided over by Her Honor Comfort Tasiame has referred the four others to the juvenile court for their respective sentences.
They were charged with abetment to commit defilement.
