The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has described the relation that exists between the Member of Parliament for Ho West, Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah and his constituency executives as a “beautiful marriage”.
His reasons for his action is not officially known yet, but close sources told Kasapafmonline.com, that the MP whom some have described as one of the finest Legislators on the Minority side of Parliament was compelled albeit reluctantly to take the hard decision because he continues to be undermined by some Constituency executives who have purposed to see him lose his seat in the party’s primaries.
Hon. Bedzrah who has been in Parliament since 2009 till date, is said to have complained severally about the plots against him by his detractors within the party to some national executives, but nothing has been done about the situation.
The frustrated Ranking Member on the Government Assurance Committee of Parliament thus decided to call its quits.
But speaking to Kasapa Fm on the issue, Mr. Kofi Adams rubbished claims of misunderstanding between the MP and the Ho West constituency executives.
According to him, the Ho West constituency is one of the peaceful constituencies the NPP has.
“He has a cordial relationship with his party executives, the relation can be described as more than solid, he may have issues with other constituents but not the executives” he said.
He added that, “With his executives the marriage is excellent.”
