The 2018 GUBA Awards ceremony took place on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the InterContinental Hotel O2 London. The biennial award in its seventh year, paid tribute to an array of trailblazers from various industries.

Dynamic hosts Anita Erskine and celebrated Ghanaian American Actor and TV Personality, Boris Kodjoe welcomed the audience whilst acknowledging the theme: African Entrepreneurship For Growth and Sustainability.

Kuami Eugene gave an energetic performance, entertaining the audience and getting them on their feet with songs from highlife legend A. B Crentsil.

This list recognises the trailblazing individuals and companies who represent the very best of Ghanaian talent within the UK and Ghana.

GUBA Awards is a non-profit organisation which donates proceeds towards charitable schemes operating within the Ghanaian community and provides an engaging platform for promoting greater cultural diversity in the UK as well as raising the profile of Ghana.

The night was well attended by several dignitaries, directors and media personalities including: Former President Jerry John Rawlings, Hon. Alan Kojo Kyeremanteng, Isaac Osei, Zylofon Media boss – Nana Appiah Mensah to name a few.
