Ghana’s Black Stars left it late to win their second AFCON 2017 Qualifiers match in three months when they beat Rwanda away from home Saturday.

And it came from the foot of newly signed UD Las Palmas player Mubarak Wakaso, who perfectly converted an 85th minute free kick to send Ghana top of the group with two wins, and 7 goals.

Playing on a grass-less pitch, the Stars managed to maintain their composure throughout the game, taking it to the Amavubi’s one effort at a time.

The win means a lot for a Ghana side that is bent on qualifying to the next games unbeaten.
