Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah has named his 21-man squad for next month’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away to Kenya in Nairobi.

Midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah makes a return to the team after a long absence whilst Royal Antwerp forward William Owusu Acheampong gets a maiden call-up.

Beginning September 3, the Black Stars will pitch camp in Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa for five days before making a short trip to Kenya for their second game in Group F of the qualifiers.

Ghana face Kenya at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi on September 8.
