The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the recruitment of graduate teachers for the Senior High Schools as part of its arrangement for the launching of the double track system.

It is however not  clear the number of teachers the GES is recruiting to beef up the programme.

A statement signed the Head, Public Relations Unit of the GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, and issued in Accra, Monday, August 27, 2018, has directed all interested applicants to log onto www.gespromotions.gov.gh to begin the recruitment process.

The service rendered is said to cost the applicant GH¢5.00.

Further details on the recruitment exercise, according to the statement would be published in Tuesday, August 28, 2018, edition of the state owned newspaper, Daily Graphic.

The statement in part further read that only applicants who have completed their national service will be shortlisted to write a “test to determine their suitability for the advertised positions”.

” Applicants should note that the GES reserves the right to post them upon recruitment to places where their services will be needed”, the statement added.

It also announced the availability of limited vacancies for cooks and other non-teaching staff categories for specific schools.
