In the Ghanaian music landscape, it is mostly unusual to see female artistes do Afrobeats.
But, young talented Tina Green, who lived most of her life in the UK, Germany and USA is doing greatly well as an Afrobeat musician.
The promising female act is gradually taking over the music industry and lifting Ghana’s flag beyond borders.
Real named Tina Osei Owusu, Tina Green is also an actress who has starred in so many popular movies. She hails from Kwahu Abetifi and Tepa both in the Ashanti and Eastern region.
Born in Germany, she has been doing music for a close to seven (7) years and sixteen years (16) years in the movie industry. With her lovely voice and versatility Tina has already made impact on the music scene featuring popular artistes like Stonebwoy, 2Shy and Kapusta.
Beyond talent, it’s obvious she has taken time to master her craft—giving music lovers a good taste of Afrobeat, made in Ghana. Green’s unique approach to melodies, stunning vocals have captured the attention of audiences in Ghana and abroad.
She has officially released three songs; ‘Tell me what you need’ featured Kapusta, ‘Shake your Backside’ featured Stonebwoy and currently promoting her latest single ‘Go Away’ featuring 2Shy.
The fun loving and adventurous artiste cum actress also loves cooking, swimming and dancing to good music.
She takes inspirations from the late Suzzy Wiliams, who was a friend and Okyeame Quophi, who groomed her.
Green had her Junior High education at the Methodist JSS, Tesano and proceeded to the St. Monica Senior High School. She graduated from the University of Professional Studies, Accra with a Diploma in Business Studies.
