Not-for-profit organization, Victor Kusi Boateng (VKB) Ministries, has presented items worth some 4,000 cedis to the inmates of the Central Destitute Infirmary at Bekwai-\amoafo in the Ashanti Region.

The items include bags of rice, maize, beans, cartons of canned fish, soap[s and detergents, gallons of oil, drinks and an undisclosed amount of money for LPG and Utility Bills.

Mrs. Anita Kusi Boateng, Vice President of the VKB Ministries presenting the items said the donation is to celebrate the birthday of Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng (her husband), who is also Overseer of the Power Chapel Wold wide and President of the NGO.

Otchere Addai-mensah, Executive Secretary of the NGO hinted that the Ministries will in the coming months embark on several social intervention programmes such as registration of the less privileged in the society unto the NHIS, health screening for the aged and offer support to the needy.

The NGO has unofficially adopted the Infirmary which receives 575 Cedis subvention from government.

The NGO has also provided the Infirmary with commercial stove, cylinders, refrigerators, blenders among other items. She pledged the ministries continued support to the facility.

Mr. Akuoko Rahman, Supervisor of the Infirmary, was full of praise for Rev. Kusi Boateng and the NGO for the support.
