Dancehall artistes, Samini and Stonebwoy have communicated their concerns after they were refused a performance at Shatta Wale’s ‘Reign’ Album launch on Saturday, October 13, 2018.
The over-crowded event which was held at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Center in Accra had patrons anticipating to be entertained by surprise artistes who were not billed to perform.
But Samini and Stonebwoy who were at the event venue to support their brother [Shatta Wale] to launch his album were both refused performance.
The two Dancehall artistes were shocked because they have once individually given Shatta Wale same platforms to support their events.
Samini and Stonebwoy tweeted to express their displeasure about how organizers of the ‘Reign’ album event disregarded them which will appear that there are unsolved differences between Shatta Wale and them.

Responding to Samini and Stonebwoy’s claims, Wale said he doesn’t know anything about Samini and Stonebwoy wanting to surprise him at the reign concert.
“Oh ! ,how , this is news to me .. sorry if this was da case … am very very sorry .. it wld hv bn nice !!! thnx for da support #TheReigAlbum,” he said.
Many have also expressed their opinions regarding Shatta Wale denying Samini and Stonebwoy’s support at the launch, describing it as unfortunate because during Samini’s Saminifest and Stonebwoy’s ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert, the SM Boss also surprised them on stage.
It is yet to be ascertained whether Shatta Wale did really turn down the gesture from his two colleagues or it was sanctioned by a third party.
The ‘Reign’ Album launch will go down in history as one of the best patronized event with an overwhelming attendance and sale of the album.
