
The five-member Normalization Committee led by its chair, Dr Kofi Amoah has briefed the Minister for Youth & Sports, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah, on the activities that the committee has been embarking on since its inauguration about a month ago.
He disclosed that the committee was putting everything in place to ensure that Ghana football was totally reformed for the benefit of Ghanaians who are the owners of the game.
He also stated that the Normalization Committee is setting up various ad hoc committees to help improve on its mandate.
Dr. Kofi Amoah further informed the Youth & Sports Minister that the Committee would be interacting with the various stakeholders of the game to solicit ideas for the growth of the game.
That notwithstanding, the Committee would also hold its maiden media engagement on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, to brief members of the inky fraternity of its activities.
On his part, Hon. Isaac Asiamah commended the Committee for its work so far and assured them of the ministry’s readiness to assist them to meet their goals.
He then appealed to Ghanaians to assist the Committee with cogent ideas and suggestions as part of the reform process.
He reminded the committee about the passion Ghanaians have for the game and urged them to work hard to accomplish what the nation expects from them.
