After several weeks of thrilling performances, the battle for supremacy is over as OV was crowned the winner of MTN’s music reality show Hitmaker Season SEVEN.
The promising artist becomes the second female to win the covetous title, since its inception.
The grand finale which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on Sunday, November 25 was hosted by Starr Fm’s Drive Time hosts, Berla Mundi, and Giovani Caleb.
OV’s win came as no surprise to many as she put up a very commanding performance to cement her place as the winner for the cash prize of GHS100,000 and the bragging rights for the winner of MTN hitmaker season 7. Her beats producer, Magnom also won GHS10, 000.00 as an automatic prize because his artiste won on the night.
Awal Mohammed, who many thought was going to win the competition came second whiles Amakye took the third position and Erza Tamaa settled for the fourth position at this year’s hitmaker grand finale.
The night also saw some spectacular performances from past winners and past participants including Kurl Songx, Kidi, Adina, Freda Rhymes, Kuami Eugene, and others.
