Ghanaian Afropop/Afrobeat singer, Wendy Shay has launched her debut album under Rufftown Records at the Golden Tulip Hotel.
The album titled ‘Shay On You’ was launched at a colourful event at the full glare of the media. The album contains hit songs such as “Uber driver, Bedroom Commando, and the latest banger Masakra.
Several industry giants from far and near were present to grace the Occasion, as well as fans of the music diva.
The first copy of the album was bought at GHC50,000 by her uncle. The National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, who also doubles as the board chairman for the Youth Employment Agency, Sammy Awuku and his friends also bought a copy of the album at GHC25,000.
Wendy Shay is one of Africa’s fast rising female artiste, who has carved a strong image for herself within the last two years of being in the music space. She continues to release hit track after hit track, leaving music lovers with no choice but to sing and dance to her infectious tunes.
