Several stories and posts on social media and other online platforms seem to communicate how ardent followers of Zylofon signed musicians are now doubtful about the survival of the music record label.

These concerns have gotten top managers of the popular music label to respond accordingly and assure followers of their signed artistes the necessary support the outfit will continue to give to the musicians.

One of the top managers of the Creative Arts company, Willie Roi though admitting to current challenges the Music department is facing due to its parent company, Menzgold recent halt in business, has also given a positive hope, making reference to some achievements chalked by Zylofon Music.

The music producer, artiste manager and the head of Zylofon Arts Club being boastful, told host of Kasapa Entertainment, Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa 102.5FM, he was able to reach out to several GRAMMY award-winners to come to the country to have a general sense of how kinds of music from the Northern part of Ghana are done.

“I used only Zylofon to bring GRAMMY award-winners to Ghana. Just because they’ve heard the name, I was able to bring them to Ghana to come and listen to music from the NORTH and this year (2019), I’m getting more of them.

“They think Zyolofon is where it is and when I bring them and I invite Ghanaian musicians, they won’t come because they have different agenda.” Willie Roi told Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa Entertainment

Willie Roi’s assertion about what Zylofon after few years of being in existence has been able to do for some musicians was disclosed during a discussion on why Entertainment Event organizers have been neglected by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

According to him, the reason why Entertainment Event organizers will be neglected is that they have no capacity building.

Meanwhile, the entertainment pundit also revealed that Zylofon signed artists have gained more than any other staff of the company.

Willie Roi has produced Ghanaian legends like Daddy Lumba, Oheneba Kissi, Ofori Amponsah, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah and many others.
