Takoradi District Court presided over by his Worship Michael Ampadu on Wednesday remanded suspected notorious kidnapper, Samuel Willis into police custody.

He is to reappear before the court on January 16, after the accused pleaded not guilty to all three charges preferred against him.

The accused, Samuel Willis who was in court this morning has been charged with causing unlawful damage, escaping from lawful custody and resisting arrest.

Samuel Willis is suspected to be behind recent kidnapping of teenagers in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis with the recent one being the December 21st 2018.

The Presiding Judge His Worship Michael Ampadu stated that the suspect should be sent to police custody for him to assist the police in investigating the whereabouts of the three kidnapped girls.

Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Paa Boateng Ahinsan told the court three families reported their children were missing on different occasions spanning from September to December 2018.

Father of one of the victims, Alexander Korankye told Empire News Emmanuel Ohene Gyan that he wept after citing his daughter’s dress she was wearing that faithful day she was kidnapped and appealed to the police to speed up investigations on the whereabouts of his only daughter
