Ghanaian UK  based Gospel musician Diana Antwi Hamilton has revealed that she is living the life her father prayed for her.

In an interview with Nii Noi on the Christian Entertainment Review Show on GN TV, Mrs. Hamilton said her late father wanted her to have a profession by doing other jobs in addition to her music ministry.

Reacting to claim that her father wanted her to only focus on her nursing career, the ‘Mo Ne Yo’ hitmaker, disclosed that her father did support both careers.

“My dad supported me 100%, my headmaster told me in JHS to do music as a course but my father said he doesn’t want me to do only music as a profession though it is a ministry on its own. He didn’t want me to get to the point whereby if I don’t sing, I do n’t eat or can’t take care of myself and my family, he wanted me to have another professional job and still do music”, Mrs. Hamilton said.

According to her, she is doing music as her ministry because it is her calling and it brings fulfillment.

“My dad said when it gets to a point where music is taking over and I can’t do nursing, then I can give my music career the utmost priority,” she said.

She also explained that most of her songs were her experiences in life, recounting on how for almost six years of marriage she had not put to birth but her husband’s family never had issues with her childbearing problem.

“My family and my husband’s family never had problems with me for not giving birth for almost 6 years. All songs I have released have a story connected to my life history.” She disclosed.

She advised women who are still barren to still trust in God, give reverence to their husbands, and at the right time, God will answer their prayers.

Diana Antwi Hamilton has released a lot of singles including, Osoro Bekasa, Ensi wo yie, Yehowa be hwe wo, mo ne yo and many more.
