The Students Representative Council of the Ghana School of Law has planned to petition the Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Prof. Mike Oquaye over their mass exam failure.

The 2018 bar exam results are the worst in the history of the school with only 64 out of the 525 students passing.

The students have given the General Legal Council up to next week to review and collate the exams scores and reduce the exorbitant cost of remarking.

Reports also suggest that some Lecturers there have threatened to resign enblock.

The President of the SRC of the Ghana Scool of Law Emmanuel Kwabena Owusu is the President in an interview with Starr News said they’ll push for a Parliamentary Commission of inquiry to investigate their mass failure.

“As an SRC we believe that this is the third time it has happened. We think that for this performance rate clearly indicates that there is something wrong and we believe that Parliament can set up a commission of Inquiry to inquire about the whole situation so we know what is wrong with the system so we can be able to find a good solution to it.”
