Ghanaian artiste, Shatta Wale is celebrating the opportunity to be a part of this year’s Ghana Music Awards.

The prestigious awards scheme is celebrating 20 years of production.

In 2013, he was banned by organizers, CharterHouse for among other issues impugning the integrity of the board and organizers of the awards scheme.

After losing out on the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year award to Kaakie, Wale called out the former and the organizers all sorts of derogatory and unprintable names.

He also recorded videos in which he called CharterHouse and its then Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Iyiola Ayoade names, leading to a defamation suit which has been settled.

“Big things about to happen… 20years celebration and I am happy to be part of it” reads part of the caption of a photo on Instagram of himself and Theresa Ayoade, current Chief Executive Officer of CharterHouse.
