At least 60 passengers are feared dead in a fatal accident at Kintampo close to a town called Penemamensa.
An eye witness on her way from Nalerigu to Kumasi who spoke on the Ultimate Breakfast Show recounted that the accident was between an O.A Travel and tour bus and a Korean bus.
One of the buses caught fire after the head-on collision, resulting in the burning to death of several passengers.
According to her, some bodies of victims were seen lying on the side of the road covered with leaves branches.
She indicated that the Korean Bus had overturned at the scene with all its tyres facing up.
The other bus she reports was badly burnt.
The police and the fire service have been to the scene to retrieve bodies and search for survivors.
