Veteran Highlife artiste, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley has rated Obour’s reign as President of MUSIGA for the past eight years as ten (10) out of hundred (100).

In an interview with Kasapafmonline.com, the singer/songwriter said he would rate him ten out of a hundred because he was not satisfied with any action taken since Obuor resumed office.

“I will give him ten out of hundred because they were throwing dust into the eyes of the public” he said.

Mr. Ambolley explained that Obour’s reign has not yielded any positive results for anyone be it the young or old in respect to the last eight years.

“MUSIGA has done nothing to improve music. They have been unable to do anything to make the younger ones feel like they are members of MUSIGA because MUSIGA has not been able to bring in jobs, and create workshops to train the youngsters about the rudiments of music.”

He attributed Obour’s failure as President of MUSIGA to inexperience in music and poor leadership skills.

“Obour himself doesn’t know what is called music. So if you don’t know, how can you impact upon the ones that are coming?” Ambolley added.

Gyedu-Blay described his relationship with Obour to be a cordial one.

According to him, he has no personal problems with the President of MUSIGA Bice Osei Kuffour who he contested.

“I don’t have any bad thing with him. He calls me out and greets me when he sees me and we say hello. But he trying to get there, thinking he can do it of which he is unable to is what pains me.”

“It’s our house. And we need to put our house together because a house that is divided will never stand, so these are the things that we were facing.”
