The Disciplinary Committee investigating allegations of bribery leveled against some judges and members of the judiciary by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has suspended sitting until 25 September.

The committee, according to Kasapa News’ court correspondent, Daakyehene Ofosu Agyemang, took the decision to enable them respond to the various suits leveled against them by the judges who were accused in the video expose’.

The accused judges contend that the committee has erred in procedure by hearing the matters, while there are pending writs over the same issue.

A High Court is expected to rule on the matter on Tuesday 22nd September.

Meanwhile, some of the high court judges including Justice Paul Dery have sued the investigative journalist over the act and want an injunction placed on the Accra International Conference Centre over the premiere of the video, which is expected t be publicly screened on Tuesday 22nd September.
