Grace Kaki Awo Ocansey known in the Ghanaian music industry as Kaakie has been spotted performing to some of her hits songs in the United Kingdom after a long musical hiatus.
The female dancehall artiste who has been inactive in the industry for quite a long time and is assumed by a lot of people to may have quit her music career made a surprise appearance at a musical concert hosted by Hot Digital.
The multiple award-winning artiste who travelled out of the country to further her education after graduating from the University of Ghana Legon has expressed her decision to put her Studies and profession in Midwifery first by putting her music aside to focus on achieving her master’s degree in medicine.
Since her long break in the music industry, however, a lot of accusations and claims have been thrown at her that she is incapable of competing with fellow female artiste Mzvee.
The fans of Kaakie have on the other hand have managed to stay loyal to the singer and are still sending her goodwill messages after her decision to make her education her priority.
She performed some of her hit singles including; ‘Too Much’, ‘Skin Tight’, ‘Come Again’ on which she featured C.E.O of High-Grade Family Samini amongst others.
Kaakie still sounds very good and her fans cannot wait for her return to Ghana’s music industry.
