Editor-in-Chief of New Crusading Guide Newspaper Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has said the six known teenage marijuana (wee) smokers accused of murdering a Teacher at Asiakwa might not have been smoking ‘correct’ wee over the period.

The Kibi District Magistrate Court presided over by Her Worship Alice Efua Yirenkyi has remanded into Prison Custody the six accused persons facing prosecution over the murder of a teacher at Salvation Army Basic School in Asiakwa.

The accused persons – Richard Amaning, 18, Mireku Emmanuel, 19, Philip Kodie, 19, Offei Frimpong, 19, Ezekiel Boadu,20, and Evans Aboagye alias Otega, 19 are facing charges of conspiracy to commit a crime to with Murder and Murder.

The 55-year-old teacher George Somuah Bosompem was beaten to death by the suspects after he complained about their illicit smoking and defecation in the school.

Commenting on the issue on Peace FM, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako stated that he was not advocating for the smoking of wee but suspected that the teenagers smoking of poor quality of wee must have contributed to the deviant behavior.

The suspects must have smoked the wrong stuff, that might not be correct wee, the quality must have been poor. There’s good wee if you smoke the wrong one you’ll be fixed up. Not everyone can smoke wee due to our different body chemistry, I know people who have smoked wee close to 40 years but have always behaved correctly. There very quality wee in the system, some have a healing effect. I have difficulty when the murder is blamed on the fact that the suspects are wee smokers.”

He bemoaned the fact that society is losing grip relative to discipline and parental control which have led to the growth of such miscreants.
