The Overlord of the kingdom of Kusa-al (Kusase), Naaba Asigri Abogorago Azoka II has attributed the return of peace and development in his kingdom to the prayers of Christians.

The king made the observation when the Evangelism Ministry Director Apostle Dr. Amos Jimmy Markin and some dignitaries of the Church of Pentecost paid a courtesy call on him prior to the opening of the ‘Saving Jesus Crusade’ held in Bawku.

Naaba Asigri noted that the contributions of the Church of Pentecost and many others in his kingdom remained indelible. He particularly mentioned that the socio-economic development and the peaceful co-existence that is being enjoyed by his people was as a result of the prayers of the Christian community.

He added that any chief that hates the word of God and prayers would lack development and a peaceful reign in his kingdom.

Naaba Azoka II said the acceptance of over fifty churches in Bawku yielded enormous blessings to him, his subjects and the people in the area.

Apostle Dr. Markin was accompanied by the Area Head of the church in Bawku Ps. Eric Gyambibi Boateng; the Area Head of Nkwanta Area, Aps. James Kwabena Asare, and the Paramount Chief of Kpasa, Elder Ubor Tazan Konja.

The Paramount chief of Kpasa shared the word of God with the king and his subjects preceding the crusade.

The Evangelism Ministry Director was thankful to God for drawing two hundred and sixty-eight (268) souls to himself with many people sharing testimonies of instant healings and miracles. One hundred and four (104) converts were baptised in water with ten (10) others receiving Holy Spirit baptism.

The crusade which lasted for five days was characterised with the great move of God. H is power brought deliverance to the oppressed; a physically challenged woman who walked with the aid of a walking stick discarded the use of it after her health was restored and others with vision impairments were healed.

Apostle Dr. Markin recounted in his sermon that his forty years walk with Jesus. He stressed on God’s encompassing love, His faithfulness, and assurance of salvation for al l humanity. He emphasised in his conclusion that ‘Jesus Christ is enough to save everyone without the need for a complement anywhere’, and that He is the only way through which salvation is received.

Citing Acts 4:12 and John 14:6 in a sermon he titled ‘Salvation is found in no one’, Dr. Markin reiterated that Jesus is not only the way but the only intermediary between God and man.
