Suspects being held in the Kidnapping of the Canadian girls have been bundled onto a Ghana Airforce aircraft enroute from Kumasi to the capital-Accra for further investigations to be carried into the case by the Police CID.
This comes ahead of a presser by the Ministry of Information at about 15:00 GMT over processes that led to their arrest on Wednesday dawn and other high profile kidnapping cases.
Kasapa News has gathered that some Nigerians are behind the kidnapping of the two Canadian girls who were volunteering in Ghana.
The 3 Nigerian suspects whose identities are yet to be confirmed captured Bailey Jordan Chitty, 20, and Lauren Patricia Catherine Tilley, 19, at a house at Akyease in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti region.
The Police have so far arrested 9 persons in connection with the kidnapping including 3 Nigerians.
The Nigerians arrested in connection with the kidnappings of the two Canadian women are believed to be behind the kidnapping of the Indian businessman in Kumasi a few weeks ago.
