Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari has stated that she will not bring her kids into the limelight for the sake of making money off them.
The beautiful mother of four said this as a response to ZionFelix in an interview where he stated that most superstars inside and outside Ghana make money off their kids by giving them attention in the media space.
Nadia quickly defended her position as a mother by pointing out that she respects and upholds the significance of the institution of family and thus she has no intentions of taking any of her kids through that especially because she is unwilling to use her kids for her personal gain.
“I didn’t have my kids to make money off of them. Come on now; why would I do that? I’m very family oriented. You can tell from the way I relate with my mother my siblings and all of that.
“I think motherhood is the best things that ever happened to me. So when I’m mothering my children, I really go all out and just shield them and protect them. So there is no such thing as doing anything for money.” Nadia added.
Speaking on why she intentionally shows off just the backs of her kids and husband on social media, Nadia Buari acknowledged that she did not think the time is right and revealed in essence that the time may never come thus she could not tell when she would show their faces to her fans and the world.
“Well, I feel like now they are a little too young. I don’t know when they will ever be ready. I just feel like they are just so innocent. They don’t even understand the media world and all of that. And it will be so unfair to put them out there when they haven’t asked for it. So I’m just really respecting the fact that they are still very innocent.” She explained.
Further solidifying her stance on her life as a media person and how she has pulled of her way of living thus far, the award-winning actress explained that she is a very secretive and has always found it easy to make a distinction between her public life and her private life.
“It was my choice. You knew me as Nadia Buari, you knew me as a character on your screen. And that’s who you know. But behind the scenes is the person that is Nadia Buari. I am not a reality star, that’s not who I introduce to the world.
“So I feel like there’s always supposed to be a border. I need to always be able to differentiate between private life and public life. So it’s a personal choice.” The actress finally added.
