Television Presenter, Eli Kharis has added a new plaque to her awards collection.
She won ‘Media Personality of the Year’ at the Young Entrepreneurs International Summit and Awards 2019. The third edition of the event was held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the La Villa Boutique Hotel, Accra.
The event, organizers say, is aimed at providing an avenue for young entrepreneurs to discuss issues relating to the development of entrepreneurship globally, and also celebrating individuals who have made a mark in their fields.
Kharis is a noted personality in the Ghanaian media industry.
She is currently the host of ‘Baby Chef’ – the first cooking show for children in Ghana on Kwese TV. Previously, she was a producer of ‘GHToday,’ GhOneTV’s flagship morning show program and presenter of ‘News Xtra,’ the entertainment news segment on the show.
She hosted ‘Glam Blogger’ – a fashion news segment on GLAM TV, and the entertainment news segment on award-winning ‘E-Talk’ in 2016. She was the host of ‘Buzz’ on ‘Rhythmz Live’ and ‘Let’s Go Shopping’ (an advertising show) both on GhOneTV.
‘The Cake Fair 2017,’ ‘Glitz Africa’s SHE Summit – Campus edition,’ launch of ‘Yenko Taxi’ app, Mr. Model Africa 2017 and Accra Mall Fashion Weekend are some of the events she’s hosted.
Born Elinam Amenyo, Kharis won ‘Television Host of the Year’ at the 2018 West African Youth Awards. She is a product of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a degree in Industrial Arts.
