It has become a trend in recent times, where every young artiste mostly females think going nude and inserting sexually explicit words make their songs an instant hit.

However, artiste manager and entertainment critic, Mr Logic has criticized this act on Hitz FM when he was given the platform to comment on one song released by an up-and-coming songstress.

Though he admitted the song was a good song but he claimed the profane words could be avoided.

Known privately as Emmanuel Barnes, Mr. Logic seized the opportunity to also advise promising female artistes to refrain from using suggestive words in their songs thinking that will get them the hit they desire.

Making reference to Adina and MzVee’s personality, the Head of Ghana Association of Songwriters, claimed the two award-winners have maintained clean lyrics in their songs yet they still make hit songs.

“A female artiste can always make headway without profane and nudity, you shouldn’t make a trend like the Ebony’s and others.

“Adina and MzVee don’t do nude or profane, but they’re big! [To blow], it’s about your talent, delivery and passion for music.

“You don’t need to go nude. Ebony made it with that style. She was a great singer but her projection wasn’t proper. I don’t expect you ladies to tow that line,” he advised

According to the entertainment pundit, up-and-coming female artistes imitating the legacy of late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns specifically how she used to dress suggestively, cannot be successful with their music career.

His thought about promising female musicians is that they become more creative and smart to be successful.
