Weeks after the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) with the assistance of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrested Elizabeth Torgbor, popularly known as Mama Gee for selling sexual enhancement products, she has assured her customers of bouncing back to business.
In a minute video posted on social Media, Mama Gee confirmed that she is doing legitimate business and urged her customers to be at peace.
According to her, the police is investigating some of her unregistered products and will soon snapback to sell her sexual enhancement products when investigations are done.
“Hi lovely people, it is your girl Mama Gee. The Food and Drugs Authority came to my shop with the Ghana Police and the issue is with my lawyer and investigation is still ongoing. They said I haven’t registered some of my products.” Mama said
In the video she shared on social media, Mama Gee is heard playing KiDi’s Mr Badman song to shame critics who claimed she is doing illegal business.
She claimed her sexual enhancement products are traditional medicines and herbs.
“I’m doing a legitimate job by selling traditional medicine and some herbs. I am not a criminal and I haven’t done anything so please all customers should keep calm, everything will be alright, we’re still on the issue. I love you guys.” She added
The FDA attention was drawn to social media videos by Mama Gee claiming she has sexual enhancers and other products which have not been registered by the Authority, the FDA said in a statement.
