Incumbent Member of Parliament for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak has lost his seat in the NDC parliamentary primaries.
It was a straight forward fight between the MP and a senior lecturer and the Head of the Faculty of Agribusiness and Communication Sciences at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Dr Hamza Adam.
Ras Mubarak a while ago took to his Facebook page to update his followers on the outcome of the polls today.
“We gave our best. Clearly it wasn’t god enough. To God be the glory. We live to fight another day,” Ras Mubarak said in his Facebook post.
