The Center of Awareness Global Peace Mission has launched a research fund together with a 13-member board with the objective of raising funds to conduct further research into COA FS, a potential HIV/AIDS cure.

With $20 million already spent into the research of COA FS and COA 72, many funds are needed for intensive research and the purchase of machinery to validate whether or not the COA FS has a greater potential of curing the HIV virus.

In estimation, between 100 to 200 million dollars will be required for the next face of research.

Speaking at the event to launch the fund, Executive President of the Centre of Awareness Global Peace Mission, Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan said his passion to find cure for the deadly virus has not died out reiterating that until he finds a permanent cure for the disease, he’s not stopping.

COA FS has already gone through the initial stages of scientific research at the Center for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine, Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research –University of Ghana and the University of Kwazulu Natal of South Africa.

According to him, currently, the Department of Biochemistry and the Department of Microbiology and Immunology – School of Medical Science of the University of Cape Coast are conducting research into the adjunctive use of COA FS on Tuberculosis at the Masters level.

He is, therefore, calling on NGO’s, groups and associations, governments and individuals to support a worthy course by donating to the fund.
