The Acting IGP James Oppong Boanuh has directed the Police Professional Standards Bureau(PPSB) and the Police Intelligence Department(PID) to investigate reports concerning conduct of Police Officers related to the shooting incident at Buduburam leading to the death of two officers.

The Director-Generals/PPSB and PID are to submit their investigation report to the IGP in three weeks.

A statement signed by the Director of Public Affairs, Ghana Police Service, ACP David Eklu is urging the public especially the media, to remain circumspect in their commentary and channel any relevant information to the police to assist in the investigation.

The Police is also encouraging anybody with information related to the murder of the officers to report to the nearest police station or call emergency line 191and 18555.
