A married couple has been killed while six are in critical condition after heavy downpour in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region.
The incident occurred at Etsi Fawomaye a suburb of Ajumako.
Eyewitnesses say the building which was already in a precarious state came crashing down during the torrential rain accompanied by strong winds killing the couple instantly while those in critical conditions are receiving treatment at Ajumako Government Hospital.
The Ajumako Enyan Essiam District NADMO coordinator Mr. Grant Essilfi who confirmed the deaths to Kasapa FM News Yaw Boagyan advised the residents not to go near buildings in bad condition.
