Ghanaian philanthropist and founder of Ghana Mothers Awards, Dominica Nana Esi Amankonah has established the Dominica Foundation, aimed at supporting, inspiring and empowering single mothers in Ghana.
Dominica Foundation will host over 150 single mothers this Christmas at the Faith Community Baptist School, Madina.
The Foundation with its stakeholders will donate items worth over thousands of cedis to all single parents present at the event.
Themed ‘Changing the life of a Mother‘, the charity project which seeks to inspire young women/Single mothers will also give free health screening to be organized by Iluna company for all single mothers.
Special guests invited to inspire and empower single mothers are MP for Madina Constituency/Minister of State at the Office of the Vice President, Hon. Abubakar Saddique Boniface, Aspiring MP for Madina Constituency- Lawyer Francis Xavier Sosu, Madina Zongo Chief – Ali Abudulai Dada Dagadu II and Rev. Mabel Germain.
