MultiChoice Ghana announces the successful launch of three brand new local radio stations on the DStv Audio bouquet and two TV channels.
This comes on the heels of the three radio stations launched in December last year. Citi FM, Starr FM and Kasapa FM, as well as Citi TV and Dominion TV, will launched on Thursday, 16th January 2020 at 08h00 GMT.
According to Managing Director of MultiChoice Ghana, Cecil Sunkwa Mills, “the addition of these TV and radio channels is part of our strategy to enhance our offering of local content on our DStv and GOtv services. We listen to our customers because we want to know what matters most to them. We use these insights to form the basis for every decision we make. We, therefore, believe that these additions will make of a great New Year’s gift to our customers.”
Mills continued to say, “We continuously focus on developing the right mix of content and value propositions which cater to people from different walks of life with different viewing needs. We will continue to delight our customers with great content delivered across a range of devices for them to enjoy, anytime and anywhere.”
The addition of these three channels to our packages will increase the number of Ghanaian radio and television channels available on DStv to eighteen and four on GOtv. These new additions will be automatically added to the current package of all our customers at no additional cost.
Citi TV offers a unique blend of credible, authentic and timely news, current affairs as well as compelling non- news programming and will be available on DStv channel 363 and GOtv Channel 182.
Dominion TV (DTV) is a multi- media network for quality, Christian based programming, preaching, and teaching programs, DTV features an array of high interest shows including news, business, inspiring documentaries, children’s programs and shows to inspire personal growth and development. DTV will be available on channel 364 and GOtv Channel 181.
Citi FM will be available on channel 882 and features a mix of news, current affairs shows, lifestyle talk shows and adult contemporary music will be available on channel 882 and GOtv Channel 195.
Starr FM is Ghana’s breaking news hub of choice, delivering news in an unparalleled journalistic style and compelling programmes through good music, entertainment/lifestyle-led talk programmes and sports. Starr FM will be available on channel 885 and GOtv Channel 197.
Kasapa FM will be available on channel 884 and is an urban, lifestyle radio, which focuses on the delivery of compelling programmes through good music, entertainment/lifestyle- led talk programmes and sports in Akan will be available on channel 884 and GOtv Channel 194.
