A 45-year-old man Yaw Antwi popularly known as ‘Mankind’ has been murdered at Ajumako Abrofoa in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region while on his way to his farm.
Some residents told Kasapa FM News Yaw Boagyan that they saw the deceased lying by the roadside suspecting him to have been drunk.
They added that because the deceased was fond of drinking alcohol, they didn’t bother to find out what was wrong with him so they passed by him and went their way.
But to their shock, they returned later to find Yaw Antwi that still lying there in the same position they first saw him.
They then quickly rushed to help him only to find out to their utmost surprise that he had been killed by some unknown assailant with his cutlass and sack by him.
Upon inspection of the body, they found out that a deep cut had been inflicted on his anus with blood oozing out, leaving the eyewitnesses suspecting that, that part of the body has been removed for rituals.
The body has been deposited at Ajumako Mortuary while the police are investigating the cause of death.
He left behind two children a boy and a girl.
