An aspirant of the Adansi Asokwa New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary primaries, Sammy Binfoh, has condemned attacks on the party’s constituency secretary by some aggrieved members of the elephant family.
A video which has since gone viral on social media shows some aggrieved party members heckling and attacking Mr. Samuel Awui, for refusing to sign Binfoh’s submitted nomination forms.
Binfoh, who is saddened by the attack, has in the process, called his supporters to order, urging them to be decorous in their anger and expressing their displeasure.
In a statement signed by the Parliamentary aspirant and released on February 18, 2020, he said “the Binfoh Agenda is well focused and ready to serve the people of Adansi Asokwa and Ghana at large. We reiterate our call on our supporters to spend their energies in selling the Binfoh Agenda message of hope to all delegates. We are with the firm belief that the delegates of Adansi Asokwa New Patriotic Party will give him the opportunity to serve better”, he noted.
