Ghanaian international Gideon Baah has responded to claims his official age of 23 was made up, insisting those claims were untrue.
In an interview on Kasapa FM‘s afternoon sports show Dwedadwamu, Baah, a former football reality television show winner said he isn’t surprised with such claims, adding he’s gotten used to them.
A victim of an online trolling that is questioning his real age, he told host Tony Adam Adjei these occurrences were normal to him.
“These things happen all the time, and to footballers across Europe. We can talk of Obafemi Martins, Samuel Eto and others.
“For me it’s normal especially with African players. When they do the right thing to do is to ignore. It’s rather unfortunate that it happened to me.
“Yes i am 23, and that’s how it is.”
Baah currently plays for HJK Helsinki in the Finish top flight football league.
