Health officials in the Ashanti region have confirmed the discharge of a Chinese national from the Agogo South Government hospital after recovering from the deadly Coronavirus.
H’ed earlier tested positive of Coronavirus in a medical test conducted by the Kumasi Center for Collaborative Research(KCCR) after showing signs and symptoms of the disease.
The victim was detained in an isolated centre for medical attention for days, but he subsequently tested negative in the latest test conducted on him, sources from the Ashanti Regional health directorate told Ultimate FM’s Isaac Bediako on condition of anonymity.
Health officials are still making contact-tracing for persons who might have come into contact with the recovered Chinese national for prompt action.
