President Akufo Addo has appointed the Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Dr. Okoe Boye as Deputy Minister of Health.
The Medical Practitioner replaces Hon. Alexander Kodwo Kum Abban who has been made the Deputy Minister for Communications. He replaces Hon. Vincent Sowah Odotei whose appointment has been revoked.
A letter signed by Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin stated that “President Akufo Addo is hopeful that Parliament will expedite the vetting of the Deputy Minister-designate for health so he can assume his office as quickly as possible.”
The hardworking young Legislator is currently the Board Chairman of Ghana’s premier hospital, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
