The Prestea-Huni Valley District Chief Executive (DCE), Robert Wisdom Cudjoe, is living no stone unturned to realize his dream of representing the people he presides over as the representative of the President to go to Parliament.

The move when achieved will be a step further in his political career, having been a member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for quite some years now.

Mr. Cudjoe, as ambitious as he is, was recently spotted a Afuke and Broni Nkwanta, all rural communities in the Prestea-Huni Valley constituency, dolling out Techno branded mobile phones to card bearing members of the ‘akatamansonians’ to influence their decision.

The DCE would on November 7, 2015, lock horns with the incumbent Member of Parliament, Francis Adu-Blay Koffie, when the NDC goes to the polls to elect Presidential and Parliamentary candidates for the 2016 general elections.

Some party officials who wanted to stay anonymous told Kasapafmonline.com that they are very surprised by the action of the DCE because of his neglect of some very important projects in the district.

“I am a party man and not much enthused about what the DCE is doing. How can you buy mobile phones to distribute to party members when you know very well that it is not our immediate needs? He could have done better if he had graded our roads and ensured that we had enough CHPS compounds to take care of our health needs. This could have won him and the NDC more votes,” noted one of the officials.
