Immigration officials on duty at Batoma, an unapproved route in the Hamile Sector Command, bordering neighbouring Burkina Faso have intercepted seven Burkinabes who sneaked into Ghana on an unregistered Apsonic motor king(tricycle).
Their ages ranged between 16 and 25. They were all males.
Preliminary investigations revealed that they were destined for Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region for farming/labour activities when they were apprehended on Saturday afternoon.
They were also screened by health personnel before being handed over to the Burkina Faso authorities on the other side of the border.
The tricycle was impounded accordingly.
