The Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan Essiam Constituency Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson has donated 100 bags of rice to Muslims in his constituency as they fast in the month of Ramadan.

He’s appealed them to pray and ask Allah to intervene and stop the further spread of COVID-19 in Ghana.

Hon. Ato Forson also urged them to remember flag bearer of the opposition NDC John Dramani Maham and himself Ato Forson to win in the upcoming December 7 general elections.

Our Muslims are doing their best through prayers to help the nations and I am appealing to our Muslim brothers and sisters to remember the country in prayers especially in this COVID 19 era. This is not the first time I am presenting foodstuffs to the Muslim communities in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam Constituency. I am ever ready to support
them.”

Receiving the Items, the Central Regional Deputy Chief Immam Yussif Alli on behalf of the Muslim Communities thanked Ato Forson for such donations and promised to continue praying for him and ex-President John Mahama.

We’re grateful for the donations by the Member of Parliament Hon. Ato Forson. All the Muslim Communities in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District do appreciate the donations and we’ll always have him in our prayers.”
