All Africa Music Awards [AFRIMA], an award scheme that rewards and celebrates musical works, talents and creativity around the African continent will on May 25 mark the AFRICAN UNION DAY [AU].

As apart of the celebration to mark the 57th Anniversary of the establishment of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), AFRIMA will hold a virtual/online music concert.

The concert which seeks to use the power of music and the crucial role of African artistes in advocating for the curb of COVID-19 on the continent will feature top African artistes such as 2Baba, Becca, Sarkodie, Rudeboy, Salif Keita, Toofan, Betty G, Chidinma, Eddie Kadi and many others.

Themed ‘STRONGER TOGETHER‘, the concert is also aimed at strengthening the bond between African states as stars speak the universal language of music against COVID-19.

The solidarity concert will be aired live on all TRACE TV platforms as artistes are expected to perform virtually at their respective locations across Africa.

AFRIMA is an African music awarding organisation. It seeks to reward music work that are of African origin, considering the enormous untapped talent that is peculiar to our continent.

  1. THE VIRTUAL/ONLINE MUSIC CONCERT 
    The Virtual Music Concert will be held on Monday 25 May 2020 from 14:00 to 17:00 hours East African Time.

      A pre-event will be hosted by Ms. Aya Chebbi, AU Youth Envoy on 24 May 2020 to call up the young people and the continent at large to massively participate in the Africa Day Celebrations and
