In the year 2014, Gospel artiste popularly known as Philipa Baafi blessed the world with a hit gospel song titled ‘Yesu Yɛ Me Last Stop’.
The Song was heard in cars, at events, ministered at Churches and also on the lips of many.
One may ask, why ‘Yesu Yɛ Me Last Stop’? Artistes often record songs based on their personal experiences or inspiration from others or things and Philipa Baafi is not an exemption.
In an interview with Eddy Ray on Kasapa Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5 Fm, the Gospel artiste revealed what inspired the name of her hit song ‘Yesu Yɛ Me Last Stop’ saying;
“I joined a Trotro from either Makola or Kaneshie heading towards Sowutwom, so upon alighting at Sowutwom Last Stop I asked myself that in life who do I see as my last stop that in times of trouble and I gave myself an answer that Jesus Christ is my last stop, that is what inspired the song, She revealed.
She is however out again with another banger titled ‘It is Well’.
