Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll has shot up to 95 from the previous 85.

Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye made the revelation on Tuesday, at a press briefing in Accra.

He also disclosed that 24 patients are in severe condition, six cases are critical and five persons are currently on ventilators.

The country’s COVID-19 case count has also increased to 14,568.

We have a total of 414 new cases reported from 25 districts across the country and three regions. Which is that about 13 regions did not record any new case yesterday,” he said.

Meanwhile, 434 more persons who tested positive for the virus have been discharged per new discharge protocols adopted by the GHS causing the number of recoveries to jump to 10,907.
