Although we are facing challenges at the National level, the bulk of our troubles stay at the top, and does not affect the grass root,  the 2016 Presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo emphasised in an interview Monday.

He insists the party’s seeming disunity and infighting has not affected the base of the party, an observation he said he’d made when he embarked on his ‘Rise and Build Tour’ across the country.

Speaking in an interview with Bernard Avle on Citi FM Monday, Nana Addo intimated the people at the grassroot are not being frustrated by the tensions, saying they’re rather bent on winning elections come 2016.

“I see those challenges at the level of the national leadership; the steering committee and its members. You don’t see any of that on the grounds fortunately from our party.”

“It appears that  a lot of people are determined to get on with the main task of winning minds, influencing the votes next year and hoping that we the leadership of the party will resolve whatever problems we have at the level.”
