The Former Deputy Communications Minister and opposition NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency, Felix Ofosu Kwakye says the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) will have a tough time when he’s elected into Parliament.
According to him, he’ll not allow the incumbent party to have its way during debates as he’ll always put forward a strong argument backed by verifiable facts and also lobby for projects for his area.
“Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency lacks development so I am the best candidate to bring in development here. I assure you that I’ll change the face of this Constituency. My Opponent since he became MP for this area have you ever heard him speaking in Parliament before and how can a person like this bring development to his Constituency.
I am going to Parliament to talk, lobby projects into my Constituency. The NPP will not sleep while I’m in Parliament. My arguments will be based on facts. We’ve not seen any development under NPP so it is time the people of Abura Asebu Kwamankese change their mind and vote for John Dramani Mahama to continue his good work the NPP’s has abandoned,” the young politician was speaking when the Youths of BrafoYaw Community launched a campaign group named “Friends of Felix Ofosu Kwakye”.
He added: “Most of the Communities in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency here lack toilets facility, markets, good roads, electricity and many more. So I am going to bring a huge change in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency here so I am urging you to vote for me as your Member of Parliament.”
The Chief of the Area Nana Ataborkese II also advised the Youths in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency not to allow themselves to be used by Politicians for political violence.
He pleaded with Felix Ofosu Kwakye not to turn his back on the BrafoYaw Community and Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency when he becomes a Member of Parliament.
